Cookery Tutor

A group of clients has taken up the challenge of cooking the
lunch for ARRCC every Friday.

We concentrate on making Healthy Choices and often adapt
recipes which are old favourites to keep us on the right track.
Menus are selected by the cooking team and we try to please
everyone – never an easy task.

Not only do we cook but we chat and laugh as we go. It’s a
great opportunity to be part of something that is going to benefit
everyone.

Anyone can be part of the team. Tracey and John are our
supervisors and chief tasters.

Cassy, Tony, Maureen and Liz are the backbone of the team
and Mike is fast becoming our ‘Pudding King’. Neil is always
willing to help too, if there is lots to do.

This year we have made Christmas Cakes, Christmas
puddings, Mincemeat, Museli and Chutneys to be sold at the
Art Exhibition.

Not only have they all developed great cooking skills but
knowledge and confidence too.
