Rye Goes Rock!

ARRCC is looking for volunteers and sponsors for 'Rye Goes Rock 2010'

The very popular annual event 'Rye Goes Rock 'will be held over the weekend of 5th and 6th June at the
Rye Rugby Club ground. Headlining this year will be Soul X Press and The Blox, supported by Curst
Sons, East of Ealing, and many other local and popular bands. Louis Turpin and his band will be closing
the Festival on the Sunday. Over the weekend music lovers will be entertained by a wide assortment of
music ranging from Rock, Blues, World and Medieval on two stages.

The Rye Longbowmen will be holding tournaments and offering 'have a go' for anyone who would like to
try their arm at archery. Supporting the Longbowmen will be a medieval village with stalls, wandering
minstrels and entertainment for both young and the not so young.

Food stalls offering local produce and a wide variety of tempting hot and cold food throughout the
weekend to suit all tastes. In the Children's area there will be entertainment and games.

Market traders with a host of different stalls selling jewellery, handicrafts and clothes. Real ales and cider
at the bar to quench the thirst!

ARRCC has a dedicated team working on 'Rye Goes Rock 2010', but they need help from generous
sponsors to really make this local Festival a huge success.

We need your support! Contact: ARRCC, I Kiln Drive, Rye Foreign, Rye, East Sussex, TN31 7SQ, tel:
