Services
ARRCC in Rye offers three main services: a Day Centre for people with disabilities, an Elders Service for people over 65 and an Outreach Service to support disabled people in their own home. Further services will be available shortly at our 2 new centres in Bexhill and Folkestone.
Day Centre
Our Day Centre in Rye is based at the Memorial Care Centre and runs from 9.30-4.00. We offer a range of social activities such as cards, games and social events as well as a range of workshops, counselling, therapies, outings and outdoor projects.
Our team of Professional Drivers, led by Kevin James will collect you from home, take you to the Centre and to all Activiities and Outings.Â
Elders Service
We believe that older people live happier and more fulfilled lives if they are able to enjoy companionship of like minded people. Click on the ARRCC Elders link on the Centres page for details.
Outreach Services
ARRCC is developing a caring, personalised Outreach Service that will include all aspects of domicillary care, thereby enabling people to stay in their own homes. Personal Assistants will be available to people wishing to access facilities within the community either on a one to one basis or as a group.
Care for Carers
A support group, Rye Carers Group, meets at the Memorial Centre on the 4th Wednesday of every month 10.30-12.00 noon. Telephone 01424 720 640
